Jacob Dayan is a true Chicagoan, born and raised in the Windy City. After starting his career as a financial analyst in New York City, Jacob returned to Chicago and co-founded FinancePal in 2015. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and is a licensed attorney in Illinois.

Career

Dayan was born and raised in the Windy City. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, he began a career as a financial analyst at Bear Stearns’ industry leading Financial Analytics and Structured Transactions group in New York City, New York.

At Bear, he managed a team of analysts responsible for financial modeling and the securitization of mortgage and asset backed securities. When JP Morgan acquired Bear Stearns, Jacob left to join Millennium Partners. There, he worked as an analyst in a Global Macro Options Trading group assisting with the research and implementation of options strategies. Jacob then returned to Chicago to begin a career of assisting consumers and small businesses with various financial needs. In 2010, he co-founded Community Tax LLC, a tax company dedicated to helping customers nationwide with tax resolution, tax preparation, bookkeeping and accounting services.

Later, he opened FinancePal to help business owners streamline their daily operations through advanced financial management. FinancePal is a U.S.-based company that leverages the latest technology to deliver great results, providing high-quality service at a more affordable price.
